Notice of Intent to Sole Source

F3G4BA2229AW01 - 99 MDG Steris Sterilizers

The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 19.1406(a) due to only one (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source is capable of providing the supplies or services required to meet the needs of this requirement.  This requirement is for the purchase and installation of Steris Corporation manufactured sterilization equipment along with peripherals (in accordance with Attachments 1 and 2).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.  Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capabilities statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capabilities to meet the requirement.  All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.

A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.  A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement.

Capabilities statements are due on Friday, 23 September 2022, no later than 1000 PDT.  To ensure your response along with all attachments are received, attachment(s) must be less than 10 MB [in total].  It is the responsibility of the offeror to contact the government to confirm receipt prior to the offer due date and time.  Capabilities statements shall be submitted by e-mail ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to the following address:
