Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Welding Program services.  Services will be provided at the Administrative United States Penitentiary (USP) located in Thomson, Illinois. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611210 with a Size Standard of $22 million. This acquisition will be solicited as unrestricted.  

The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base year with four 12-month option years for renewal at the discretion of the Government.  Specific details will be included in the solicitation packet.  The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work.  All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.

The solicitation will be made available on or about January 23, 2023.  The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most recent information about this acquisition.
