INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – FCN, Inc.
BUREAU OF THE FISCAL SERVICE, Tecnau Printer Spindles

The Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service, intends to make award on a sole
source basis to FCN, Inc.; 12501 Ardennes Avenue, Suite 101; Rockville, MD 20852-1741 for Tecnau
printer spindles for Ricoh VC40000 printers.
The Government intends to award a single purchase order.

A sole source to FCN, Inc. is intended for this contract. Printer spindles are required for the
newly purchased Ricoh VC40000 printers. Tecnau brand printer spindles are required to maintain the
warranty on the printers.

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service will consider written responses received no later than 11:00 a.m.
ET on 30 March 2022. Responses must include sufficient evidence that clearly shows the vendor is
capable of providing the requested product. If no written response is received that clearly
demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements, is more advantageous to the Government, and is
received by the aforementioned deadline, the Bureau of the Fiscal Service shall make award on a
sole source basis to FCN, Inc.

NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will
not be considered an affirmative response to this Special Notice. Telephone responses or inquiries
to this Special Notice will NOT be accepted.

Qualified contractors must provide the following:

1. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size
(Other than Small Business, Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran
Owned Small Business, HubZone, Woman Owned Small Business, etc.) based on NAICS Code 334118, size
standard 1,000 employees. Please ensure contact information includes the name of the point of
contact, email address, and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding
individual responses.

2. Whether your products are available through a Government contract vehicle or Open Market.

3. A brief capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that includes a description of your
company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company currently provides
these products/services for.

4. Contractors should provide their DUNS, if applicable.

Responses to this request must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. ET on 30 March 2022 and must be
submitted electronically to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov. Add Attn: AJ / RG SS-FSA-22-056 to the
subject line of the email. The following file extensions are not allowable and application
materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:

.bat, .cmd, .com, .exe, .pif, .rar, .scr, .vbs, .hta, .cpl, html, mhtml, and .zip files

The Government does not allow 3rd party messaging systems/secure mail, other than when authorized
by the Government.  In those cases, the Government's 3rd party message system will be used when
requested.

Microsoft Office non-macro enabled compatible documents and .PDF documents are acceptable. If the
Offeror determines that other formats are necessary, it is the Offeror’s responsibility to verify
with Fiscal Service that those formats are acceptable.
Proposal materials with unacceptable or unreadable formats may be found non-responsive No other
information regarding this Special Notice will be provided at this time.
This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms
responding to this notice are advised that their response is not a request that will be considered
for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant
solicitation separately from their response to this notice.
