Donnelly Training Area & Gerstle River Operations Site Electrical Improvements

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR POWER UPGRADES AT THE DONNELLEY TRAINING AREA(DTA) AND AT THE GERSTLE RIVER OPERATIONS SITE(GROS). 

The U.S.A.F. is seeking potential contractors qualified to improve and expand the power infrastructure at Donnelly Training Area (DTA) and the Gerstle River Operations Site (GROS) near Fort Greely, Alaska. Information submitted from interested vendors will be used for informational and planning purposes only.  This pre-solicitation notice IS NOT a solicitation. Interested vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party's expense. Non-responsive vendors are not precluded from participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. 

The work shall include but is not limited to:

- Three 500 kVA transformers, one 50kVA transformer, one 225kVA transformer, and all associated hardware.

- Provide underground power service and fiber optic cable at the DTA site.

- Provide above ground power service at the GROS site.

- The transformers will be ground mounted and require a new concrete pad. A utility vault will also be required.

- The power drop should be located on the same concrete pad as the transformer.

The following information is requested from interested vendors:

1.  Company name and contact information to include phone number and email.
2.  Positive statement of your interest in this procurement as a prime contractor.
3.  Unique ID number and/or CAGE code.
4.  Business type and/or size (i.e. large business, small business, 8(a)-certified small disadvantaged business) based upon North American Industry Classification System code 237130.
