This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory, Fort Pierce, FL., has a requirement (subject to the availability of funds) to Repair Greenhouses as per Statement of Work (SoW), at the ARS U.S. Horticultural Research Facility located at 2001 South Rock Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34945.  The work includes but is not limited to:  The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, professional services, and supervision necessary to perform Repairs to Greenhouses as per the SoW.   The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and cost breakdown for the entire project.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.  The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M.  Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement.  During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP).  The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about July 18, 2024.  This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
