THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of Sole Source as implemented by FAR 13.501(a) ; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to: Corporation for Educational Network Initiatives in California (CENIC), 16700 Valley View Avenue, Suite 400, La Mirada, CA 90638 for subscription to the robust, high capacity, high availability, next generation Internet communication network that provides access through a cohesive infrastructure for its associates and affiliates. CENIC provides access to California K-20 schools and, in order to facilitate the education and research mission of its associates, to non-California higher education institutions and to industry research organizations with which CENIC Associate researchers and educators are engaged.
