Description

DOD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) will hold a one-day Industry Day event on 30 January 2023. The purpose of the event is to provide technical requirements and program planning on commercial sensor capability objective. The Industry Day will take place at the 911 Elk Ridge Landing Road Lithicum, MD, 10am all attendees need to be there by 0930.

Due to capacity, each company is limited to a maximum of two representatives on a first come first serve basis with a TS-SCI clearance. This is a TS-SCI event so all participants will need to pass their security information to BTO.SECURITY.OFFICE@us.af.mil  (and cc’ing the PoCs listed below) no later than 26 January 2023 at 1700 EST. Instructions are attached to the SAM notification.

For a more interactive industry day, companies are requested to provide questions or comment no later than 26 January 2023. we will endeavor to provide answers and incorporate comments during the presentation.

Update 20 Jan 2023: Vendors are encouraged to bring capabilities statement or solutions to the industry day and will have opportunity to highlight them during the one-on-ones.

Please refrain from bringing electronics such as cell phones, PDAs, and Bluetooth enabled devices to the industry day.

The areas of interest for the Industry Day may include, but is not limited to, the following:

The Commercial Sensor Capability objective: Provide a CI sensor enterprise-level mission space.  This project is comprised of the following five lines of effort:

Validate the enterprise mission space by identifying its components Integrate operations with DoD commercial networks Enhance demonstrated capabilities for CI/LE operational environment Broaden scope and outcomes across interagency (automated protect & respond) Manage project – DevSecOps approach; incremental execution

The following is a requirements de-composition for the project.  The decomposition has five lines of effort associated and contains a series of tasks/sub-tasks that comprise each line of effort.

Requirements Decomposition

1st Line of Effort - Establish mission space capabilities

 2nd line of effort - Enhance mission space operations

3rd line of effort - Expand into broader CI & LE Mission space

4th line of effort - Develop and field a non-attributional threat hunting capability on company networks

5th Line of effort - Manage the project

Government Technical Data Packages (TDPs) will NOT be released within this Special Notice. If the USG pursues the requirements discussed at the Industry Day, Government TDPs may be released in separate Sources Sought Notices for each effort contemplated. All contractors interested in future solicitations must be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This Industry Day is for informational and planning purposes only and shall NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal or White Papers; therefore, no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending this event or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research.
