Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Sole Source contract to Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc. (Cage Code 09CV6), 13431 NE 20th Street, Bellevue, WA 98005, for supplying Submarine Seawater Sensors for Undersea Warfighting Development Center, San Diego, CA. The proposed contract action is one in which only one responsible source will satisfy the agency requirements (See FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i)) Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements). The proposed contract action is Sole Source only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability information in response to this notice by 1100AM PDT, 18 Apr 2023, via email to maya.n.maxies-clemons.civ@us.navy.mil. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. The contractor will not be reimbursed for any expenses related to responding to the Notice of Intent.
