Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a Contractor to provide repair and rehabilitation services to the pedestrian footbridge over the BNSF railroad tracks at Lock & Dam 4, Alma, Wisconsin.
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to furnish performance and payment bonds, remove the bridgespan (hoist by crane to adjacent parking lot), sandblast, paint, make repairs to structural components, and re-install bridgespan on piers over active railroad tracks.
Please read the "Definitive Responsibility Criteria" section (pg 12 of specs) carefully. The apparent low bidder must provide documentation of all certifications within five days of bid opening, in order to receive the contract award.
This solicitation is issued as an Unrestricted Invitation for Bid (IFB) with Full & Open Competition. An Offer Guarantee (bid bond) is required. Please see Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders for more information about how to submit a bid, and the bid opening.
The Estimated Magnitude of Construction, in accordance w ith FAR 36.204 is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classiffication System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238320. The size standard of this NAICS code is $16,500,000.
