Description

GSA Region 10 intends to issue non-personnel services contract to provide an unarmed, uniformed guard to escort
children and staff on daily outings outside of the Joyful Noise Child Development Center. The Government shall not
exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such
contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the
Government.
The purpose of the contract will allow GSA to provide increased security to escort children to and from the park as
the center does not have an outdoor playground. Access to the outdoors is a requirement of the state licensing
requirements and NAEYC standards. The contractor shall provide be for an unarmed security escort during the
hours in which the children normally walk to and from Waterfront park. Refer to the attached Statement of Work for
the full requirement.

Quotes will be evaluated based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). In order to be determined
Technically Acceptable quotes must accurately and sufficiently address All requirements of the SOW. Quotes and
questions shall be submitted via email to Gary Hitt (gary.hitt@gsa.gov); confirmations will be provided when
quotes are received.
