Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) to Sunshine Aero Industries Inc (Cage 8U446).
The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Enterprise Services and Innovative Solutions Branch (PZZC), intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide Flight Test Support Services IAW Attachment 1, FTSS IDIQ Model Contract.
The purpose of this commercial requirement is to provide Flight Test Support Services to the 96th Test Wing (96TW), 96th Cyberspace Test Group (96CTG) for ongoing United States Air Force and Department of Defense, Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) efforts, as well as Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of communications, surveillance, and other airborne and ground based electronic systems.
The Offeror must have facilities with classified workspace, storage, and hangar space, to accommodate the test assets within 100 miles of Eglin Air Force Base FL, and must provide three (3) essential functions:
1) Provide aircraft, both fast movers and slow movers for support of systems under test,
2) Provide aircraft modifications (i.e., test equipment racks, antennae) necessary for support of systems under test, and
3) Provide personnel for flight test, (i.e., aircraft pilots, aircraft mechanics, and facility manager all with security clearances) as per mission requirements.
