The United States Property Fiscal Office (USPFO) on behalf of the West Virginia Army National Guard (WVARNG) is requesting a quote for Concrete Slabs. This requirement is being requested lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) meet or exceed. To be considered technically acceptable you must provide a quote that meets all specifications listed below. Please provide a quote in accordance with your terms & conditions.

100 Concrete slabs @ 4' x 4' x 6''

1/2" rebar will consist of 3’ rods on all 4 sides. Rebar must be space a minimum 6" from the edge and 2” in depth. At a minimum, rebar must be tied together with rebar tie wire at all 4 corners”

There needs to be a coated lifting cable at the top in which can be utilized to lift with minimal possibility for failure. It is critical that the government is able to lift the slabs.

The easiest way to do this is that when the slabs are poured, that the cables are somehow secured/ fasted within the slab (e.g., wrapped around the rebar).

The vendor will install the anchors as required in order to move and utilize concrete slabs in training.

If the instruction regarding the coated lifting cable at the top is unclear, then the second course of action us to utilize the following items to complete the task:

a. Hoist Ring, 5000lb. WLL - [ Mfr Model #33714].  100 EA

b. Drop-in anchor, ¾”-10 – [item #453G75]               100 EA

c. Drill bit, 1” [item #22UW64].                                     10 EA

d. Set tool for ¾” drop in anchor [Item # 4CB95].         1 EA

If the vendor is unable to install the anchors as required, then the government will do so.
