Description

PURPOSE / INTRODUCTION

The FAA has an upcoming project to replace a personnel lift at FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) located in Anchorage, Alaska.

Work includes:

Remove the existing enclosed vertical platform lift and replace with a lift similar in kind that will meet current standards.  Work involves adjusting wall openings and upgrading existing electrical connections, as needed, and all required tests and certifications of the system.  All work to conform to the International Building Code.

 ESTIMATED PROJECT SIZE

The estimated project size is under $100,000.

NATURE OF COMPETITION / SET ASIDE

The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time, however, either an unrestricted competition or a set aside will be chosen based on the results of market research performed and responses to this market survey announcement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1) This is not a Request for Offers (RFO) of any kind;

2) The FAA is not seeking or accepting any unsolicited proposals.

3) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey; and,

4) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor's expense.

The NAICS code for this procurement is  238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, which has a small business size standard of $19.5 Million.
