Notice of Intent - J&A for Microm Fire Alert System

USACE Trans Atlantic Expeditionary District intends to issue a Justification and Approval (JA) for a future Task Order (TO) under the Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOCs) W912ER-18-D-0004, W912ER-18-D-0005, and W912ER-18-D-0006. This JA regards the exclusive use of Microm fire alarm panels in future construction projects under those listed MATOCs.

This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotations or competitive proposals. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to proceed with a brand name or equal requirement. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that substituting another fire alarm system would be advantageous to the Government without being detrimental to the health and safety of the installation where it will interface with existing Mircrom systems. A determination by the Government that this proposed sourcing based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct an unrestricted procurement.

Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at Uriel.Ramirez@usace.army.mil and Jessica.L.Merril@usace.army.mil no later than (NLT) 18 February 2022 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) to be considered. Responses should include: 1) Company name, address, Unique Identifier Number, and point of contact name of email address. 2) Detailed information that will demonstrate how substituting a fire alarm panel will interface with for the Microm system installed at other buildings on the installation.
