Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08 has a requirement for a long-term Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Window Cleaning Services of its Administrative Building, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The VACHS Administrative Building is a five (5) story building with a basement and penthouse level. The exterior glazing consists of fixed glass panes in an aluminum structure. The north elevation is a five (5) story curtain wall system. The south and west elevations consist of punch through windows within a concrete structural system.
The scope includes the cleaning of the windowpanes, horizontal concrete overhang in all south elevation windows and window roofing located on the entrance of the administrative building. The scope also includes the glass roofing structure by the entrance to the “rotunda”, side panels frames, doors of full length, semi-transparent awning-like panels that cover the walkway from the Admin Building’s main entrance to the main entrance of the hospital and the window exterior panels of the area denominated “Future Canteen Service Dining Area”.
Estimated total measurement of windows and glass surfaces: Approximately 32,741 ft2.
There are anchor points available on the perimeter of the Admin Building at the roof level for equipment attachment.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement will be 561720 (Janitorial Services), and the Product Service Code (PSC) will be S299 (Housekeeping - Other).
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation. If there is sufficient interest, a solicitation shall be posted on the FBO website.
In order for the Government to determine the capability of interested vendors in fulfilling this requirement, interested vendors should demonstrate that they are certified by the International Window Cleaning Association (IWCA).
