Description
NOTE: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED 8(a) SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESSES, CERTIFIED SERVICE DISABILED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES, WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES and, INDIAN SMALL BUSINESS ECONOMIC ENTERPRISES.
The information received will be used within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interested businesses that have the capability and relevant experience for OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, Kalaloch Apartments National Park Service Housing. This is a 4-plex single level apartment complex. The work of this contract consists of the rehabilitation of the Kalaloch Apartments, to include removal, abatement, and disposal of asbestos containing materials. Project removal and replacement of all gypsum board finishes, doors, cabinets, heating devices, plumbing fixtures, and existing metal standing seam roofing and underlayment. includes providing new electrical and installing ABAAS compliant entry walks.
Olympic National Park, Kalaloch Developed Area, Kalaloch, Washington. Project site is located directly east of the Kalaloch Ranger Station in Kalaloch on the western edge of Olympic National Park.

The NAICS Code is 236118 Residential Remodelers. (the small business size standard is $45 million) is being utilized for this project.
The anticipated firm fixed price construction contract is expected to have a magnitude between $1,500,000 and $2,750,000.
Estimated Period of Performance: ARO: (mid-AUGUST) 365 days to complete.
Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Construction, A single-award.
A determination by the Government to compete this requirement as a set-aside based upon responses to the notice and other market research is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. The release of this RFI should not be construed as a commitment or as an authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions will become Government property and will not be returned. The NPS does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
A complete Statement of Work will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on SAM.gov in early January.
All questions will be answered in writing via amendments to the Solicitation.
NOTE: Any known cost, schedule, and capability or performance constraints:
Project is in a remote section of the Olympic Peninsula. The remoteness of the location will affect mobilization/demobilization, travel, and per diem expenses.
