Global Heavyweight Services (GHS 2)

Everts Air Cargo, Fairbanks, AK, was awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, fixed-price Global Heavyweight Service-2 (GHS-2) contract, with an eight-month base period, nine one-year option periods, and a six-month extension period, if needed, with a total program value of $1,503,340,117.57 (estimated).  Performance start date is 01 February 2023 with an expected base period completion date of 30 September 2023.  Option years one through nine will have the following start and completion dates, respectively: 01 October 2023 – 30 September 2024, 01 October 2024 – 30 September 2025, 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2026, 01 October 2026 – 30 September 2027, 01 October 2027 – 30 September 2028, 01 October 2028 – 30 September 2029, 01 October 2029 – 30 September 2030, 01 October 2030 – 30 September 2031, and 01 October 2031 – 30 September 2032.  The six-month extension, if exercised, would bring the final contract completion date to 31 March 2033.  The contract Number is HTC71123DC009.  This contract provides heavyweight delivery services for domestic and international shipments.  Services shall be provided for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), other Federal Government agencies, and contractors who have a cost-reimbursable contract line item number under another Government contract which includes transportation of freight (Cost-Reimbursable Contractors (CRC)). The contractor is required to provide door-to-door, time-definite, pick-up and delivery, transportation, timely and accurate shipment tracking, government Third Party Payment System (TPPS) participation, customs clearance processing (if applicable) and shipment data reporting. The contractor shall provide these services for international shipments over 300 lbs., which includes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The location of performance is global.  The period of performance is from 01 February 2023 to 30 September 2032.
