Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for catering services for the celebration of the Independence Day to be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon. The Embassy is seeking the services of a qualified contractor specializing in this field of work that has local facilities available for menu tasting as part of the technical evaluation.

The Embassy intends to conduct a site visit and pre-quotation conference at the Embassy on April 10, 2023, at 14:00. Prospective offerors must notify the Procurement Section by e-mail to LisbonProcure@state.gov if they intend to attend and provide name of representative by April 6, 2023. No parking available.

Submit your quotation by e-mail to LisbonProcure@state.gov on or before April 17, 2023, by 16:00 local time.  No quotations will be accepted after this time. In order for a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:

  1. SF1449
  2. Section 1 Pricing;
  3. Section 5, Representations and Certifications;
  4. Additional information as required in Section 3.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Please be advised that firms need to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov before the contract is awarded.
