Ricoh MFD Phase-Out Lease for MFD Fleet

This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the United States Property and Fiscal Officer for New York's (USPFO-NY) intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to conduct Multi-Function Device (MFD) fleet lease Phase-Out operations for NY ARNG's IT Department pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

New York Army National Guard's (NY ARNG) IT Department (MNCI) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase orders and subsequent modifications on a sole-source basis to Ricoh USA Inc. The requirement for this acquisition is for MNCI to provide and maintain current Ricoh MFDs at 50 locations throughout NYS totaling 302 machines according to the PWS, to include the phase-out lease for MFD Fleet (3 mo. base, 3 x 1 mo. options). This will allow the government 3 to 6 months to award a new order for new equipment as the current Ricoh fleet is aging out. 

Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The  applicable NAICS Code is 334111 and the business size standard is 1,250 Employees.

Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quote; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of providing these services may be considered by the agency.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
