The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract with Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC, 5995 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta PA, 30005. In accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The contract anticipated effective date is March 1, 2023, for a period of one year with two option years. This requirement includes an option to purchase equipment. The proprietary Manufacturer for hardware and software upgrades, installation of software and training for existing Cardiology PACS located in the sites. These items are available on Change Healthcare Technologies, LLC- Picture Archive and Communication System. The hardware and software will be utilized at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Audie L. Murphy Memorial Hospital (7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, TX 78229). The NAICS code is 541511, Custom Compute Programming Service, with a large business size standard of $30.0M.
