Description

The U.S. Embassy in Budapest, Hungary requires hotel services for a full Conference Package for 100 participants for 4 days in May, 2024 in Budapest, Hungary. The Embassy is looking to receive offers from 5-star hotels located in the city center of Budapest, Hungary. The required services include 1 large conference room (~3,000 sq ft), 2-3 additional breakout rooms (~5,000 sq ft total), a workspace area, a registration area, catering services (breakfast, coffee breaks, buffet lunch), and an A/V package (including internet, projectors, screens, printers, microphones, etc., and A/V staff). The hotel must also be able to accommodate 100 guests at the same location during the conference (the hotel rooms will be paid individually by the attendees).

All hotels that respond to this solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform such a service. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements to submit a proposal:

  • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Hungary;
  • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  • Be located at the city center of Budapest
  • Have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available to perform the services, including the accommodation requirement for 100 guests during the conference;
  • Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
  • Have liability insurance;
  • Have no adverse criminal record;
  • Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interest of the United States of America;
  • Be registered or ready to register in the SAM database at www.sam.gov
