Description

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held via teleconference on 31 December 2024 at 10:00AM, EST.  The call-in number is: 1-844-800-2712 Access code: 199 262 9798 and the link to be utilized is as follows: https://usace1.webex.com/meet/nicole.m.batista-cruz  

It is requested that an email be sent to Nicole.M.Batista-Cruz@usace.army.mil no later than 27 December 2024 at 1:00 PM, EST to confirm attendance by your organization.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project work consists of dredging 350,000 cubic yards of material from the existing borrow area off the coast of Fort Pierce Beach. This material will be placed on the beach between R-34 and R-39. Work also includes but is not limited to environmental species monitoring, sea turtle trawling (hopper dredges only), turbidity monitoring, beach tilling, beach fill quality control, screening, MEC construction support, and vibration control and monitoring. Note: Coast Guard Certified dredge is required to complete the work.

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 20 December 2024 and bids will be due on or about 21 January 2025.

The Small Business Standard is $37 million

The Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.

The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 130 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
