NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO QUESTIVITY INC.

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is issuing this notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, to Questivity Inc, a small business concern under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) – soliciting from a single source.  

This acquisition is for the procurement of brand name Pacific Star Communications (PacStar) mobile solutions from the authorized reseller, Questivity Inc.

MCTSSA intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”

The basis of the sole source:  Questivity Inc. is an authorized reseller that meets all requirements. No other reseller meets the current need in its entirety.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any party interested in submitting questions or concerns regarding this notice or the Government's intent to sole source may contact the Contract Specialist, Sindica Wade at sindica.wade@usmc.mil no later than 5 calendar days after this announcement.  The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred by responding to this notice.
