Description
This brand name only requirement is for the StealthStation S8. The StealthStation S8 is a navigation system for cranial, ear, nose, and throat imaging during surgery. The StealthStation System, with StealthStation Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) software, is intended as an aid for locating anatomical structures in either open or percutaneous ENT procedures. The StealthStation is indicated for any medical condition in which the use of stereotactic surgery may be appropriate, and where reference to a rigid anatomical structure, such as the skull, can be identified relative to images of the anatomy.
The Stealth Station S8 Fusion Machine will be used at the Joint Base Andrews Malcolm Grow Medical Center Same Day Surgery Department for treatment of functional endoscopic sinus surgeries, revision sinus surgeries, distorted sinus anatomy of development, postoperative, or traumatic origin, pathology involving the frontal, posterior ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses and many others. The machine will be operated by qualified surgical nurses and board certified surgeons in the Surgical Suite
