Description

The objective of this project is to improve salmon habitat for Endangered Species Act (ESA) listed lower
Columbia Steelhead in the Wind River Watershed. Using large wood obtained from nearby harvest units,
large woody debris will be added to the Wind River to enhance pool quality and quantity, slow stream
flow, increase streambank stability, and improve overall water quality for fish habitat.
