Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to BD Biosciences at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC as part of a Research and equipment maintenance and repair service program with VISN 6. Contractor shall provide repair and service for Accuri C6 Plus Flow Cytometer System which includes the replacement of the inline sheath fluid filter, fluidics bottle filters and peristaltic pump tubing every two months. The Accuri C6 has acquisition speeds of up to 10000 events per second. The MESF for FITC <75 and PE <50. The flow rates are 14ul/ min, 35ul/min and 66ul/minute. The system also has an adjustable custom core feature which allows the user to adjust the core from 5-40 microns. This will accommodate small-large cells/particles that we may be required to run in our lab. Resolution of smaller particles is .5 microns as part of the yearly support after the repair of the Cytometer for the Durham VAMC, located in Durham, North Carolina 27705. Period of performance will be a base year of service. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses relevant past-experience and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
