Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUCEMENT ONLY – Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. The information gathered for market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a future requirement for Contracting support remove the emergency equipment, siren package, and the two-way radio and associated accessories from the current leased fleet of four (4) vehicles. The Contractor must test and advise if the old two-way radio equipment from the current four (4) vehicles cannot be installed in the four (4) new vehicles and select replacement equipment for the new vehicles if necessary. OSLE also require Contractor support with providing and installing new emergency equipment, siren package and two-way radio equipment for the newly acquired fifth vehicle.

Please note: All contractor doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management database (SAM) as well as certified in the Vendor Information Portal (VIP). The anticipated NAICS code is 336320 with a size standard of 1,000 employees

When responding, interested parties should answer the following questions:

  1. Can your firm provide the requested services identified in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached?
  2. Do you have any issues/questions/concerns with the draft PWS?
  3. How many calendar days does your firm need to prepare a quote resulting from future solicitation?

Interested parties should reply to james.heffner@va.gov and todd.synder@va.gov within 4 business days (February 3, 2023) prior to 1:00 PM EST. Parties’ message should be titled ‘OSLE Vehicle Uninstallation/Installation’ with the following information:

  1. Corporate name and address
  2. Name and title of the responder
  3. Socio economic status
  4. DUNS number
  5. A brief statement of capability that includes similar scope work performed in the previous two (2) years. The response should be limited to two (2) pages.
