Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Page 5 of 5 *= Required Field Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Page 1 of 5 Solicitation Number / RFQ 36C24422Q0558 Wheelchair Van Transportation Services for the Veteran Beneficiaries at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Subpart 13.5 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis solicitation number is 36C24422Q0558. It is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding one five-year firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06 (04/26/2022) and can be found at http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.html. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 485991 with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. This solicitation is unrestricted. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. Registration information is at www.sam.gov. Confirmation of SAM registration will be validated prior to awarding a contract. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) is seeking a five-year firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Wheelchair Van Services to transport beneficiaries including physically and mentally handicapped individuals in wheelchairs, and aged and infirm persons, their attendants and personal belongings throughout the Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia tri-state area. The Contractor agrees to furnish non-emergent, wheelchair van services, 24-hours per day, seven days per week, (to include all federal holidays) for all beneficiaries to the locations noted in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached to this Solicitation (Attachment A). The Contractor must be capable of meeting all requirements in the PWS. The VAPHS intends to award a contract for five years, with year one to begin on or about 09/05/2022 09/04/2022.
