H212 Fire Alarm Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, & Monitoring, Roseburg VA Medical Center
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
- Title: Fire Alarm Monitoring Services
- NAICS Code: 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths)
Tasks:
- The Roseburg VA Fire Alarm System operates an Edwards Fire System. The Contractor shall visit the site to obtain details of the specific areas and fire alarm systems covered by this contract in order to fully complete the inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring program in accordance with NFPA 72 and the manufactures recommendations.
- Scope of work includes completing the NFPA required fire alarm inspections, testing, maintenance, and monitoring within all building on the Roseburg VA Medical Center Campus that have a fire alarm system or a partial fire alarm system. VA will provide fire alarm drawings of the facilities as requested. Information, including drawings and other documentation, provided to the Contractor, shall be used for reference only.
- Fire Alarm Systems are in 34 building throughout the Roseburg VA Medical Center Campus.
Contractor Qualifications:
- All work shall be performed by a factory trained Qualified Person as follows:
- Inspection, Testing, and Service Personnel. (SIG-TMS) - Personnel, either individually or through their affiliation with an organization that is registered, licensed or certified by a state or local authority, shall be recognized as qualified and experienced in the inspection, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of systems addressed within the scope of NFPA 72.

Period of Performance: 10/22/2024 – 10/21/2025, plus four option years.
