Industry Day for OWCP Medical Physician Network and Medical Bill Processing Services

DOL is inviting interested parties to participate in one-on-one sessions with OWCP and its component programs to discuss outreach efforts that OWCP contractors may employ to advance diversity in the pool of medical providers, and market intelligence relevant to today’s medical provider and bill processing communities.

Interested parties may contact DOL to reserve a 60-minute timeslot. Each one-on-one session with OWCP personnel will cover diversity and vendor capabilities related to market intelligence.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) is seeking a nationwide network of medical providers for injured federal employees, Energy workers, coal mine workers, and longshore and harbor workers who have claims with one of OWCP’s four separate workers’ compensation programs.

OWCP is interested in overcoming barriers faced by underserved communities and individuals in accessing medical services under the OWCP programs. Advancing diversity in hiring and contracting for medical service providers will have a positive impact on the delivery of services to OWCP claimants by addressing disparities in diagnosis and treatment between persons of various backgrounds.
