Due date for proposals is extended to July 8, 2022.
The National Park Service (NPS) will be contracting to remove and replace of 127 picnic tables along the Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina, in the Highlands District (23 at Cumberland Knob, 78 at Doughton Park, and 26 at Price Park), and the bid option to rehabilitate tent pads at Doughton Park Campgrounds and Julian Price Memorial Park Campgrounds.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price
100% small business set-aside procurement.
The NAICS code is 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 million.
In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000.
Period of Performance 9/1/2022 to 5/1/2023
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.
Pre-proposal Conference/Site Visit: All interested contractors are encouraged to attend site visit scheduled for June 14, 2022, 7:30am, at the entrance to Julian Price Memorial Park campgrounds, by the sign. We will Start at Julian Price CG and work our way as a group up to Doughton Park and then Cumberland Knob. Please email Ashley Warcewicz at Ashley_Warcewicz@nps.gov if you plan to attend.
