Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested
Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.
The 177th Fighter Wing intends to issue a sealed bid solicitation, in accordance with FAR Part 14, and award a firm fixed price contract to upgrade, repair, and replace portions of the airfield lighting system on the 177th Fighter Wing located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ located at Atlantic City International Airport. The scope of work includes (but is not limited to) pole mounted perimeter security lighting; pole mounted stadium lighting; building mounted aircraft apron lighting; trenching; underground conduit; and restorative site work.
The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000, ref: FAR 36.204(e)
All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a response stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor.
This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages and to be considered responsive by the Contracting Officer MUST include:
- A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form, attached to this www.SAM.gov posting. The Response Form shall be used as a cover sheet;
- A positive statement on company letterhead of intent to bid as a prime contractor,
- A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were the prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and
- A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
