Description

This is a presolicitation notice only for El E431A F-35 Demolition of Building 1303, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Offer or bids will not be accepted for this notice. 

This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside Procurement. Any resulting contract will be firm-fixed priced. The solicitation for this project will be available by INTERNET ACCESS ONLY and the anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or about 19 April 2023.

This project is contingent on availability of funds. If the project is cancelled, all bid preparation costs will be borne by the offeror. All offerors are advised that they must be registered in SAM.gov (http://www.SAM.gov/) in order to receive an award. Joint ventures must also be registered in SAM.gov as a joint venture. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their bids in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code will be 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors, which has a size standard of $19 Million. 

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 

Work includes, but not limited to: Demolition of the 5,700 square foot (SF) building that will consist of all building components to six {6} inches below building components. Includes the disturbance and/or removal and disposal of asbestos­containing materials, polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) containing light ballasts, mercury-containing materials, lead-containing materials and items containing radioactive compounds. Remove sidewalks, curbs, gutters and street light bases. Saw cut and remove existing pavement. Backfill with classified material as required to achieve a positive slope draining gravel surface at the building site. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work.
