Description

***The RFP number has been changed to FA8522-23-R-0003.  All offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP.  Proposals shall be recived by 13 February 2023 by 3:30 pm EST.

This solicitation will be using other than full and open competition procedures to award a new Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for repair of the ALQ-184 Low Band Traveling Wave Tube (TWT), National Stock Number (NSN) 5960-00-009-4381EW.  This requirement consist of a two-year basic for the MEQ, a one-year repair option, and two out-year options.

Alternate 1a (unqualified source): First Articles: 2 Each; Production Quantity: 130; Exhibit A Data: 1 LO (A001-A006).

Alternate 1b (qualified source): Production Quantity 132 Each; Exhibit B Data: B001-B004.

Alternate 2a (unqualified source): First Articles: 2 Each; Production Quantity: 130 Each; Exhibit A Data: 1 LO (A001-A006).

Alternate 2b (qualified source): MEQ 65 Each; Production Quantity 67 Each; Exhibit B Data: 1 LO (B001-B004).

Option I: Each; Exhibit C Data: 1 LO (C001-C002)

Option II: Each; Exhibit D Data: 1 LO (D001-D002)

Option III: 65 Each; Exhibit E Data: 1 LO (E001-E002)

Should all options be exercised, the total duration of the contract will be a maximum of 5 years. The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of supplies for which the Government intends to compete the MEQ between two qualified sources: Communications and Power Industries (CPI), Cage Code OMH33, and Teledyne Defense Electronics, Cage Code 11312; and one unqualified source: Photonis Defense Electronics, Cage Code OBMR4. The other than full and open competition portion will be for the options.

Destination Info: SW3119 (Robins AFB, GA). The anticipated Delivery Schedule is as follows: For the First Articles: 180 days ARO funded delivery order; Data: IAW DD1423; Production Quantities: 7 Each per month ARO; Option Quantities: 7 Each per month ARO.
