Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) has entered into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Automatic Logic under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) sole Source.
Emergency request to remove the existing Web Controller (Webcontroller) v6.5 software to the Crownpoint Community School HVAC System of the BIE Network, The WebCTRL controller works with the HVAC equipment to allow the maintenance staff to input temperature set points in Bldg. 1771 (main school building). The unit also allows for viewing of the digital display of HVAC system graphics so the maintenance worker can see the system equipment (fans, motor, dampers, etc.) BIE IT policies have change and the Web controller must be taken off the school BIE network. Due to these policies the existing Web controller is not communicating with the HVAC/Chiller System.
Automatic Logic is the sole proprietary provider of the Crownpoint Community School HVAC Web Controller (CTRL). New Mexico Navajo Central Agencies Facilities Management has used the services of Automated Logic and has provided excellent services. The contractor¿s technicians perform their work in a professional matter and are technically competent. They are licensed to perform the level of work required as the sole distributor of Carriers BAS and has access to the materials/software required to get the HVAC BAS fully operational in a timely manner.
The anticipated delivery is January 8, 2023.
