SHORE PROTECTION PROJECT ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH RENOURISHMENT 2023, ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FLORIDAA Pre-Bid Conference will be held via teleconference on 10 August 2023 @ 10:00am, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The call-in number is: 1-844-800-2712 Access code: 199 392 9265 and the link to be utilized is as follows: https://usace1.webex.com/meet/timothy.g.humphrey. It is requested that an email be sent to Timothy.G.Humphrey@usace.army.mil no later than 9 August 2023 at 2:00 PM, EST to confirm attendance by your organization.DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is located at St. Johns County, Florida. Work associated with the subject requirement consists of dredging beach compatible sand from a specified offshore borrow area, transporting, and placing dredged material along approximately 3 miles of eroded shoreline in St. Augustine Beach, Florida and the constructing a beach berm to the specified template. Sand will be sourced from borrow area S-1, located approximately 6 miles offshore of the placement area in federal waters. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration control monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and turbidity monitoring.The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 25 July 2023 and bids will be due on or about 25 August 2023. NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities.The Small Business Standard is $37 million.The Magnitude of Construction is between $30,000,000.00 and 40,000,000.00.The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 245 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION.
