Description

The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin (LCB), Yuma Area Office (YAO), is located at 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma County, Arizona. YAO maintains two cooling towers on the North side of the main Administration Building/Yuma Desalting Plant Process Area that provides cooled water for the heat, ventilation, and air conditioning units within the facility. It has a requirement to analyze the current water treatment methods and provide recommendations.

SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held on July 17, 2024 (Weds) at 8:00 a.m. Arizona Time. All site visit attendees will meet at the Yuma Area Office. Please contact Harris Abellon, Contract Specialist at habellon@usbr.gov if you intend to attend the site visit. If no notification is received from interested vendors, the site visit will be cancelled.

Vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where work is to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the price of the work to be performed, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award of purchase order

WRITTEN QUESTIONS: Reclamation will only accept written questions for this RFQ. Please submit all written questions pertaining to this RFQ to Harris Abellon, via email, habellon@usbr.gov, no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on July 19, 2024. The subject line shall clearly reference the RFQ Number associated with this RFQ. No questions will be entertained after this date.

QUOTE SUBMISSION: Quotes shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist, habellon@usbr.gov. Solicitation number must be included in the subject line. Quotes are due July 31, 2024, by 12:00 PM PS.
