Intent to Sole Source - American Institute of Architects Organization Membership

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS.

This is a notice of a sole source. Please refer to the attached, redacted, and approved Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition for detailed information.

The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Services (GSA/PBS), Office of Architecture and Engineering, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) for one (1) base period, with two (2) one year option period, to the American Institute of Architects, for American institute of Architects (AIA) organization membership subscription. AIA community connects over 96,000 architects and design professionals in the U.S. and around the globe. The organizational membership will provide leadership opportunities on committees and working groups, building career skills and networking with leaders in the architecture profession, AIA, and universities all while improving GSA’s knowledge and skill sets. AIA organizational membership is to provide GSA employees with access to their tool and resources, member rates for AIA Conference on Architecture, and other membership benefits. The intent is to procure through sole source using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all responses received by July 24, 2023; 12:00PM ET. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a subsequent competitive procurement.
