Description
NOTICE FOR AIR-TO-GROUND MISSILES (AGMS) ENGINEERING SERVICES
This synopsis is published in accordance with FAR 5.101 and is not a request for proposal or information.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command—Redstone has a requirement for Air-to-Ground Missile Systems (AGMS) Engineering Services in support of the Laser HELLFIRE and the Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM). The contractor shall provide AGMS Engineering Services which consist of program management, engineering, product assurance, logistics, configuration management, test/evaluation, and production engineering support required to maintain the capability of the Laser HELLFIRE and JAGM in support of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, special customer, and foreign military sales customers. This effort will consist of a base award and three 12-month options for an estimated 36-month period of performance.
This requirement is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC), 5600 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819-8907 (cage code 04939). LMC is the single source possessing the unique knowledge and expertise required to manage and update the peculiar hardware design, tooling, and test/inspection equipment required to produce and inspect the Laser HELLFIRE and JAGM to resolve problems promptly as they occur.
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This contract is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.
