Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Bldg. 171, Temple, TX, 76504 intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a single, firm fixed price contract for Construction Services to demo and install new handrails. The solicitation will be issued on SAM.gov on or about February 12, 2025, and will include the Statement of Work and specifications. The IFB opening will be on or about March 28, 2025. There will be a pre-bid site visit. Site visit information and specifics of this requirement to follow with the solicitation.

Project Details: The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item(s) necessary to perform and accomplish this service.  The contractor shall be familiar with all the terms, conditions, and requirement herein contained.  All work must comply with federal, state and local regulations. Handrails provided shall be brand name or equal to 1000BH Handrail - Ligature Resistant Handrails | Inpro Corporation, in the preferred color Santa Rosa Oak. Salient characteristics will be provided in the solicitation. Work includes CLC building 4, 7, 11, 91, and 94.

Work will be performed at Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, TX 76711.

Period of Performance: 90 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued
