Description

(2/25/2022) See attached Amendment 0003, which revises Instructions to Offerors.

(2/23/2022) The Government will issue an amendment on or about 2/24 to revise Instructions to Offerors to permit submittal of list of welding procedures and list of NDT procedures as Attachments 3 and 4, respectively to the Technical Volume. Submittal of lists is in lieu of submitting full text of procedures.  An extension to the RFP due date is NOT anticipated.

(2/17/2022) The Government has amended solicitation N4215822RS001 to include revisions to the solicitation.  See amendment 0002. An information-only/marked-up/conformed copy of the solicitation is included as an aid to review (turn on track changes). Amendment 0002 also deletes Attachment 3; and replacement copies of Attachment 1 and 3 are included.

(2/11/2022) The Government has amended solicitation N4215822RS001 to include answers to bidder questions.  The solicitation amendment N4215822RS001A0001 is included and attached to this contract opportunity.

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), to provide necessary management, technical services, labor, material, support services and equipment to accomplish a full range of depot level repairs and alterations, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and removal of main auxiliary, hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) equipment and systems onboard US Navy or other military type vessels, including submarines.  The work will be accomplished onboard US Navy vessels located primarily within a 50 mile radius of Norfolk, Virginia (Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY)), but may require task orders performed at joint bases located in Charleston, South Carolina, and in Kings Bay, Georgia.  

The requirement will be solicited as a total small business set aside.

The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611, Shipbuilding and Repair with a size standard of 1,250 employees.  The Product Service Code is J998.
