Description

The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Informational Session for Industry, Virtual Event, will
provide a forum for the members of U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command
(CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), Army Contracting
Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), and APG Office of Small Business Programs (APG-OSBP) to coordinate with industry partners and present upcoming business opportunities for the current and next fiscal year, FY 24/25.

******NOTE*********
This event is informational only. It is not an invitation to submit bids, requests for
proposals or request for quotes. Any such bids, proposals or quotes will not be
considered.

SYNOPSIS: CECOM SAMD, ACC-APG, and APG-OSBP will host the FMS Informational
Session for Industry, Virtual Event, via MS Teams. There will be two periods, an open
forum to all participants followed by an optional individual company virtual one-on-one
meetings with Government representatives. Companies desiring a virtual one-on-one
session must request it by February 7th, 2024 in order to reserve a time slot.
Time slots are limited, so we will select one-on-one participants on a first come first
served basis. Please note that details, including specific organizational briefing
schedules, remain subject to change.

The goal is to be transparent with respect to FMS operating procedures and
procurement opportunities. We also want to solicit questions and comments from
industry pertaining to FMS business opportunities. The FMS Informational Session for
Industry will describe potential future contracting opportunities for the FMS mission
areas that focus on CECOM equipment: Command, Control, Computers,
Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR).
The FMS Informational Session for Industry will identify potential contracting
opportunities that are aligned with Foreign Military Sales requirements, focusing on
Fiscal Years 2024–2025. Informational slides are anticipated to be posted
electronically one week prior to the start of the event. The Government will not
request or accept formal bids or proposals from industry based on this event. The
purpose of the informational session is for the Government to highlight upcoming
opportunities to industry for a better understanding of the Army’s FMS requirements
from CECOM SAMD, ACC-APG and the APG-OSBP.
