Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding modifications. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide various consumable metals for tech training at Gulfport, Mississippi. The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The U.S. Air Force has a requirement for Consumable metals for the 366 TRS/ Det 6 Structures Apprentice Course at Gulfport, MS. Various metals to be used throughout the course to practice welding, shaping, and forming, as part of the course objectives to be a Structures Apprentice in the US Air Force. See below for the minimum salient characteristics: 

(80 Each) Steel Plate (Low Carbon), A36 3/8" x 4' x 8' or similar  
(40 Each) Steel Plate (Low Carbon), A1011- 11 Gage x 4' x 8' or similar            
(100 Each) HR Galvanized Sheet 26 Gage x 4' x 10' or similar                   
(20 Each) Aluminum Plate, 5052-32 - .063 x 4' x 8' or similar.                    
(20 Each) STAINLESS Steel 2B T-304 - 16 Gage x 4 x 8 or similar

Please include Shipping/Delivery in quote. Quested delivery within 30 days ARO. Forklift on site, need to package all steel in stacks of 10 max, due to lift capability.

The applicable NAICS code is 331110, and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. This requirement is a total set aside for  small business  concerns.   

The solicitation number is FA302024Q0014 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). See attached “Combo RFQ” for the RFQ format. All documents including the solicitation, and all amendments to the solicitation are obtainable via this notice. Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments.  

The solicitation will close at 1:00PM CST on 1 February 2024. All solicitations must be submitted via email to the Primary and Alternate contacts listed below.
