Repair/replace water/sewage and conduit hangers at Coast Guard Station Cortez FL

This combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is advertised as a Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued.

The solicitation number is 70Z028-22-Q-MIAM0099.  Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) codes are:

541990  All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services standard in Millions ($16.5)

This requirement is for a fixed price contract.  The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13 and part 15
The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, Best Value.
When submitting your proposals, request a price breakdown of the following:

1. Cost of labor and supervision
2. Cost of materials and equipment needed to perform the work

Contract will be awarded to the vendor who can perform the work outlined in the provided SOW in the time frame needed by unit.  Cost and Past Performance factors will be considered when selecting the award.  Vendors shall submit past performance documents to ensure contractor has experience in work requested within this solicitation.

Anticipated award date: 10 business days after close of solicitation, OOA 30 May 2022

Performance Period:  Performance of work is expected to commence within 2 weeks after award and completed within 30 days after commencement of contract. Extension period must be approved by the Contracting Officer for any unforeseen delays.

Site visit:  It is highly recommended and encouraged that interested parties contact Petty Officer Tarvaris A. Mason@uscg.mil or via phone at 941-794-1607 to be granted access to the station for a site visit. Any questions vendors have concerning this solicitation or requirements within the SOW should be forwarded to Jerry.Lopez@uscg.mil.  I will forward questions to project manager and post Q&A’s in SAM.Gov.  Q&A’s shall be submitted by May 10th and responses will be posted by May 16th.

Work hours:  Monday through Friday, 0800 – 1500 (8 am – 3 pm) No weekends or Holidays authorized.
