Catholic Religious Educator Kaneohe

The Catholic Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) works under the Roman Catholic Director of Religious Education (Catholic DRE) who is the Roman Catholic Chaplain, or contracted priest approved through the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS). The Candidate will be required to obtain a valid and current Catechist Certification issued through the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA.  The Catholic CRE shall plan, execute and supervise a comprehensive program for Catholic Religious Education for MCB Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay. This contract is primarily to support the Roman Catholic Religious Education Program. It also includes working with other CRE’s and DRE’s on interdenominational and interfaith religious education events as directed by the Catholic DRE. The contract Period of Performance will be 1 August 2023 through 31 May 2024. There are various events to plan and execute through out the year that include First Communions, Confirmation, First Reconciliation programs, a retreat for Confirmandi, vacation Bible school during the month of May, with instruction to parishioners commencing in August of 2023. The total term of this contract is 10 months.
