Description

The Onsite Training Purchases Team at the NASA Shared Services Center is requesting information from vendors for the facilitation of the following course:

  • Course Title: Gen AI Instructor-Led-Training
  • Purpose of Training: NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland is seeking qualified vendors to deliver a comprehensive instructor-led-training program on generative AI (Gen AI) for 25 participants. This program will leverage a flipped classroom approach to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize Gen AI for tasks such as document summarization, content creation, code assistance, and research support

  • Period of Performance Start Date: August 1, 2024
  • Period of Performance End Date: October 31, 2024

  • Number of Sessions: Three 8-hour sessions or minimum 24 contact hours  
  • Instructor Availability: Remote availability for “open office hours” no less than 4 hours per week. Open office hours: 10:00–3:00 PM Eastern Time

  • Location: NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135

  7. List and format of course materials. Note: Materials provided must be Section 508 compliant.
  8. List of platforms, tools, and datasets needed for course assignments.
  9. Resume of each instructor should include experience with using Gen AI for science or engineering applications and experience teaching in a non-academic environment. Note: Clearly identify relevant experience. If more than one instructor will facilitate training, indicate training topics that will be facilitated by each instructor.
  10. Process for selecting qualified substitute instructors, if needed.
  11. Summary of estimated cost for training, which is inclusive of costs for instruction, materials, overhead/labor, travel, etc.
  12. Accepted methods of payment. Note: If fees for credit card processing is applicable, please note the percentage rate and amount of the fee.
  13. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
  14. Policy to cancel or modify training.

The purpose of this RFI is to collect additional information about the subject training request and identify the willingness and capabilities of potential vendors to service the subject training request.  This RFI is issued solely for information or planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposal (RFP).  The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the government.  NASA has not made a commitment to purchase any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought.  All submissions become government property and will not be returned.
