N065--Removal and install of three (3) Autoclave Steam Sterilizer systems. Intent to Sole Source to KJQ, Inc.

The Veteran s Administration (VA) Office of Research and Development, Regional Procurement Office East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with KJQ Inc. based in Milton, GA on behalf of the VA Atlanta Healthcare System. The requirement is to provide un-installation, removal and re-installation of three (3) Autoclave laboratory equipment systems. The contractor shall provide installation of (3) autoclave steam sterilizer systems as purchased separately, including one self-contained unit designated for research laboratory use. Work shall meet all applicable codes and regulations. The specific work to be performed includes: Remove three (3) Autoclave systems and place on VA loading dock. This includes the removal and disposal of small components and packing material incidental to the operation. Place and install three (3) Autoclave units to manufacturer specifications. Installation shall include equipment assembly, installation, start-up function tests, and customer/owner training. All services shall be completed within a 12-month period from date of award. The requirement will take place at a VA facility in Atlanta, GA. The sole source is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Thursday, May 12, 2022, (10:00 AM, EST).
