Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intent to issue a sole-source solicitation N00024-25-R-4302 for the operation, maintenance, protection and certification of U.S. floating dry-dock SHIPPINGPORT (ARDM-4) to General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340.

SHIPPINGPORT (ARDM-4) is located at the Naval Submarine Base, New London, CT. Electric Boat Corporation is the only private nuclear qualified shipyard certified to operate the floating dry-dock. The solicitation will provide support during a one-year base period commencing in FY26 and have an additional four one-year option periods. The contract will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.

Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Solicitation documents are not available at this time. A determination of the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
