Description
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) seeks to establish a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle to purchase/manufacture and distribute 3lb bags of White Medium Grain Rice during steady state operations and disaster response operations which occur at a moment’s notice (within 72 hours of contract award). The contractor shall be responsible for making deliveries to the Places of Performance listed in section 14.0 of this SOW.
The method of procurement will be full and open competition. The NAICS code is 311999 - All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is: 8970 – Composite Food Packages.
Telephone request for this solicitation will not be accepted. The issuing date for this solicitation is May 2, 2023 and the response closing date is May 17, 2023. Issuing and response dates are subject to change.
Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Information regarding this registration can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors shall be required to complete Representations and Certifications on line at https://www.sam.gov in response to this requirement. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources that is submitted to the point of contact by the solicitation closing date.
