Description
This award will provide the purchase and shipment of six Scroll Compressors for replacement on a Chiller. The replacement of the compressors is urgent because the chiller is currently inoperable and cannot meet the cooling demand for mission requirements of AFRC Headquarters. All six compressors need to be replaced to ensure that the chiller can be brought back up to full operation. Daikin Applied Americas Inc. 13600 Industrial Park Blvd Minneapolis, MN 55441-3743 is the manufacturer of the chiller and has the compressors readily available. This requirement was urgent and awarded on a sole-source basis to Daikin Applied in accordance with Authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(2) or 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(2).
